Things to do in and around Lenham this weekend

Summer looks like it's ready to stick around for a bit longer, we hope the forecasters are right this time! In anticipation of a glorious few days to be out and about, we thought we'd share some of the great things going on in Kent this coming weekend.

Outdoor Theatre Experience, Leeds Castle

If you're a fan of the theatre and looking for something to do with the (grand)children, why not head to Leeds Castle. Just ten minutes from Lenham, 'the loveliest castle in the world' is playing host to an open air theatre, featuring Alice in Wonderland. Watch their faces light up at this colourful, musical family fun show and then explore the gardens and scenery the castle itself has to offer.

Ice Cream Festival, Kent Life

Usually when you think of festivals, you think of fans screaming along to their favourite bands - well Kent Life is offering Ice Creams instead! With over 20 different flavours to try, you'll also have the opportunity to cover them in all sorts of toppings. And when the adults need something to wash it all down, they're setting up a Pimm's bar in the Village Green. But don’t worry if you are a fan that loves to scream at festivals, there will also be plenty of live mooosic being performed on the 'Dairy Stage', so you can get your kicks there. 18 minutes from Lenham.
